October 2007
Building Services firm PWP is backing GMB Nottingham Panthers’ bid
for success
with a five-figure sponsorship package. As part of the deal, PWP
sponsored
October’s big game against Sheffield Steelers where DHL, Geopost
UK, New Look
and Colt International were among clients enjoying the Arena’s
corporate hospitality
and one of the most eagerly awaited games of the season. Despite
the Panthers’
last minute defeat, the game was closely fought and everyone enjoyed
the evening.
The package also includes a season-long advertising campaign and
sponsorship of the away team’s penalty box, as well as corporate
hospitality facilities.
PWP’s managing director Robert Sowter explained why the company
is supporting
the Panthers and the significance of the event for the business. “We
owe a lot of our
success to clients in Nottingham and the East Midlands, which gave
us the platform
to win national business. The Panthers have given the City a lot
of pride and
success in the past and we wanted to give something back and to be
part of that
continuing success.”
At the evening’s event PWP Building Services provided clients
with a preview of its
new corporate identify symbolising a new vision for the future of
the business, as well
as announcing details of a new head office extension planned for
2008.
