PWP delivers new fully compliant facility for specialist healthcare provider

PWP have nearly completed a new 2,000m² 24-bed clinical adult mental healthcare facility in Clifton, Nottingham for The Ansel Group. The £700,000 building services contract will be commissioned and operational before Christmas 2009.

As well as the full Mechanical, Electrical and Specialist design, PWP provided thermal modelling services to ensure that the planning requirement s including renewables were satisfied, using Biomass technology.

The project will be completed in only eight months thanks to early co-ordination between the client, architect and main contractor incorporating a timber frame construction solution.

Ansel is an independent, dedicated provider of services to individuals with a personality disorder and appointed PWP to provide specialist M & E services to ensure that this, their first new facility, meets all the stringent registration requirements. PWP have also delivered all the expertise to ensure that security and safety is maintained in all aspects of the installation.
